I spent my winter break carving this life size Styrofoam Jesus for UNCSA's production of Maria Stuarda. Due to the school being closed for the holidays, I resorted to carving Jesus in my living room. This was my first time doing a major carving project. Foam Jesus was great company over the holidays and will be featured again in UNCSA's After Easter this April.

Here is a sneak preview of the brand spanking new 2nd Act Show Scrim designed by Howard Jones for UNCSA's annual Nutcracker. This project was the love child of my conjoined twin, Lindsay Senior and myself, with the brilliant scenic stylings of Nicole Miniclier and the rest of the UNCSA scenic art team. Stay tuned for production photos and as many pineneedles as we can squeeze onto 400 sq ft of fiberopticically infused black velour!

I recently scenic charged UNCSA's production of Swan Lake, designed by Dwayne Burgess and directed by Ethan Stiefel. The production consisted of 5 pieces of soft goods: a velour cut drop, three painted portals, and a translucent backdrop. I led a crew of 12 student scenic artists to execute this design with the help of my lovely assistant Renata Brewington. Here are some process and production photos...

I just completed my Dry Pigment Project. This was my first time working with this medium. I did a grayscale reproduction of Albert Moore's "Midsummer," with variation on the faces to honor some of my modern muses.
